Family Resource Connection & Preservation Services

The Family Resource Connection & Preservation Services (FRCPS) program is a statewide initiative in South Carolina that helps families referred by the Department of Social Services. The program focuses on prevention and support, working with families who may be at risk of needing intervention due to challenges such as poverty, young parental age, disabilities, or relational stress.

FRCPS strengthens families, builds protective capacities, and reduces the likelihood of neglect or abuse through proactive, non-investigative services.

Our services include:

  • Case management for SCDSS-referred families

  • Parent education and coaching

  • Family assessments and referrals to community resources

  • Direct support with concrete needs

With guidance from supervisors and clinical staff, Family Resource Specialists partner with families to promote stability, well-being, and long-term success.
